IJIAAR supports responsible, ethical and transparent approaches to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in scientific research and publishing processes. In today's world where artificial intelligence tools are rapidly developing, the use of these technologies can improve the quality of research, but also creates ethical responsibilities.

In this context, it is expected to act in line with the following principles:

1. Transparency

Authors should clearly declare all artificial intelligence tools used in their research or writing processes. For example, the name, version and intended use of AI applications used in areas such as language editing, data analysis, image production or content creation should be specified in the article.

2. Responsibility

The responsibility for the content generated by artificial intelligence tools lies entirely with the authors. The accuracy, scientific validity and ethical appropriateness of the suggestions provided by AI should be checked by the authors. AI cannot be cited as a ‘co-author’ instead of an author.

3. Ethical Compliance

The use of AI tools should not conflict with the principles of human rights, research ethics and academic integrity. In particular, risks such as data privacy, the use of algorithms that may cause discrimination or the production of manipulative content should be carefully considered.

4. Restriction Awareness

The limitations of AI systems should be taken into consideration; the findings obtained from these tools should be considered as supporting tools, not as definitive scientific data. In particular, outputs containing unverified information should not be used directly in scientific content.

IJIAAR supports responsible, ethical, and transparent approaches to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in scientific research and publishing processes. Therefore, if AI support was received for the study, this support must be clearly disclosed under this heading.

Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors in manuscripts.

For studies that did not receive artificial intelligence support, authors must provide a clear statement stating, “No artificial intelligence support was used in any part of this study.”
